Dr. Lila Guevara was born in Lima, Peru, and raised in Conyers, GA, since she was 12 years old. Dr. Guevara has four dentists in her family and spent time shadowing different dentists throughout high school and college. After learning more about the profession, she realized that dentistry was the perfect fit for her. She has always loved taking care of people and is very detail-oriented and meticulous.
Dr. Guevara graduated from Georgia State University with both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University in Augusta, GA, where she was on the dean’s list. After graduating from DCG, Dr. Guevara has continued to improve her skills and stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry by attending multiple dental conferences and taking continuing education courses to provide the best possible care to her patients. By staying current, Dr. Guevara is able to offer a wide range of services, including wisdom teeth extractions, surgical extractions, placement of dental implants, bone grafting, root canal treatment, cosmetic dentistry, veneers, crowns and bridges, teeth whitening, fillings, night guards, dentures, and removable partial dentures.
Dr. Guevara is fluent in both English and Spanish and is a member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Guevara is honored and thankful to serve your dental needs.
Dr. Guevara is married to her husband, Maykell, who is from Miami, FL. They live in Atlanta with their first baby girl and Yorkie named Coco. In her spare time, Dr. Guevara enjoys spending time with family, working out, hiking, traveling and reading books! Dr. Guevara also stays involved in her local community by volunteering with many organizations such as Georgia Mission of Mercy and Habitat for Humanity.
